Tom Graupner is co-founder and lead cloud native consultant at Unit 214 in Munich. After graduating from university, he started his career in classic Java backend engineering. Over the years, he moved into the cloud-native space and became more involved with Kubernetes, DevOps, and developer productivity. In 2022, he began to explore the Go programming language. He was immediately intrigued by Go's focus on simplicity, and he chose Go as his new favourite technology of choice.
