Abstract

Abstract

  • Tanguy Herrmann: Prototype a CRUD API in less than 50 LOC
    Description: I presented RIP at GoLab last year (https://golab.io/talks/rest-in-peace-using-generics-to-remove-rest-boilerplate). I added some improvement along the way and reduced the amount of code necessary to create a RESTFul CRUD API backed by a database.
    This allows for fast prototyping the API server and start the collaboration with the front end team and iterate from there.

  • Jorropo: Why go does not have Tail-Call-Optimization (TCO)
    Description: As a contributor to the go compiler I'll answer « why go does not have Tail-Call-Optimization » which is a recurring question from developpers with functional oriented backgrounds as it is a critical feature for theses languages to be usable.
